Valonda

Valonda has studied dance for practically her entire life. She began ballet and jazz lessons in Jacksonville, NC and used that talent to win pageants and dance competitions across North Carolina. Valonda was a dancer and cheerleader in college at Winston-Salem State University and after graduating from college she danced professionally as a Washington Redskins cheerleader. Valonda created the viral line dance to Pharrell's "Happy" which has surpassed 1.8 million views on YouTube and continues to grow. Valonda is a dancer with Black Box Modern Dance Company. She also teaches jazz at North Carolina Dance Institute and offers private lessons. Her students include couples who want a special first dance at their wedding as well as dancers aspiring to the college and professional levels.
